AIBM Video Production
Produced, filmed, edited, animated, and published a mission-driven video for the American Institute for Boys and Men.
For this project with the American Institute for Boys and Men, I produced a mission-driven video designed to communicate the organization’s research and policy work focused on improving outcomes for boys and men across the United States.
My role
I led the full video production process from concept to publication, including on-site filming, editing, motion graphics, animation, and final publishing across digital platforms.
- Clear Research Communication – Translate AIBM’s HEAL research into engaging, easy-to-understand video content.
- Stronger Audience Engagement – Increase awareness and understanding of issues affecting boys and men through visual storytelling.
- Professional Digital Distribution – Create a polished, on-brand video asset optimized for web, social media, and outreach efforts.
- Video Capture – Filmed all primary footage using a Panasonic Lumix S5II camera paired with RØDE microphones for high-quality visuals and clear audio.
- Graphics & Data Visualization – Created branded graphics, lower thirds, and title cards in Adobe Illustrator and exported charts from Datawrapper to support key messaging.
- Editing & Animation – Edited the full video in Adobe Premiere Pro, managing pacing, sequencing, transitions, and motion graphic animation for stronger engagement.
- Audio Cleanup – Refined dialogue and reduced background noise using Adobe Audition.
- Publishing – Exported, optimized, and published the final video across digital platforms, primarily on YouTube.
The final video delivered a clear, accessible translation of AIBM’s research into a polished visual narrative designed for public engagement.

The strength of video is that it allows audiences to absorb complex information much more quickly than a traditional research brief. It also requires distilling ideas into a more focused, intentional narrative that maintains attention while highlighting the most important insights and takeaways.
