Menincollege.org was a full website design and development project built to support partners, resources, and storytelling around male student success in higher education for the Higher Education Male Achievement Collaborative (HEMAC). The goal was to create a modern, engaging digital experience that explained the problem and how HEMAC could help, while providing a strong visual identity for the initiative.
My role
I led the design and development of the site in Webflow, creating custom page layouts, CMS structure, responsive design systems, and user-focused navigation across more than 15 unique pages. The project also included photography production for visual storytelling throughout the site, helping create a more personal and credible experience for users.
- Clear Research Accessibility – Present higher education research and resources in a way that is easy to navigate, understand, and engage with.
- Strong Digital Identity – Build a modern, visually distinct platform that strengthens the Men in College brand and mission.
- Scalable User Experience – Create a flexible CMS-driven structure that supports future growth, content expansion, and long-term usability.
- Site Architecture – Planned the content structure, user flow, and CMS organization to support research pages, resources, and long-term scalability.
- Visual Design – Designed layouts, graphics, and branded visual elements using Adobe Illustrator to create a clean and professional user experience.
- Web Development – Built the full site in Webflow, including responsive layouts, custom interactions, animations, and mobile optimization across 15+ unique pages.
- Photography Production – Captured and integrated original photography throughout the site to strengthen storytelling, credibility, and visual consistency.
- Publishing & Optimization – Managed launch preparation, SEO structure, content publishing, and final quality control to ensure strong performance across devices and search visibility.
The final website created a polished, highly functional digital platform that made research more engaging and accessible for students, educators, and institutional partners. It strengthened the initiative’s professional presence while providing a scalable system for ongoing content growth. The project demonstrated the value of combining strong design, custom visuals, and strategic development to turn research into a more usable public resource.

A strong website does more than present information—it shapes how people understand and trust the work behind it. For membership projects like HEMAC, design and user experience are critical because clarity directly impacts engagement. The goal was not just to build pages, but to create a platform that made the mission feel credible, accessible, and worth exploring.
