The Centre for Policy Research on Men and Boys website was a full redesign and migration project built to modernize the organization’s digital presence and improve access to research, policy work, and public resources across the UK. Similar to the Men in College project, the goal was to create a professional, user-friendly platform that made research and institutional content easier to navigate, understand, and maintain.
My role
I led the full website design and development process in Webflow, including site structure, page design, CMS setup, responsive development, and the complete migration from the previous website. This required carefully transferring legacy content, preserving usability, and improving the overall experience without losing institutional continuity.
- Improved Research Accessibility – Make policy research, reports, and public resources easier for users to find, understand, and navigate.
- Stronger Digital Presence – Create a modern, professional platform that better reflects the credibility and mission of the organization.
- Seamless Website Migration – Successfully transfer and improve the previous site structure while maintaining continuity, usability, and long-term scalability.
- Site Architecture – Planned content structure, user flow, and CMS organization to support long-term scalability and easier content management.
- Visual Design – Created layouts, branded elements, and supporting graphics using Adobe Illustrator for a clean and professional experience.
- Web Development – Built the full site in Webflow, including responsive layouts, custom interactions, animations, and mobile optimization.
- Full Site Migration – Managed the complete migration from the previous website, transferring content, preserving structure, and improving usability across the new platform.
- Cross-Time Zone Collaboration – Coordinated project planning and feedback with stakeholders in London while working from Mountain Time, ensuring smooth delivery across international schedules.
- Publishing & Optimization – Managed launch preparation, SEO structure, content publishing, and final quality control for strong performance across devices.
The final website delivered a stronger, more professional digital foundation for the Centre for Policy Research on Men and Boys, improving both user experience and internal content management. The successful migration preserved important legacy content while significantly improving usability, structure, and long-term flexibility. The project demonstrated how thoughtful design and strategic development can modernize an organization without disrupting its existing mission and audience.

Website redesigns are often less about creating something new and more about improving how people experience what already exists. Migration projects require balancing trust, continuity, and modernization at the same time. The challenge was making the platform feel stronger and more usable without losing the history and credibility the organization had already built.
